FIFA 19 Cristiano Ronaldo Juventus Preview: First look.

FIFA 19 last night released their first look at Cristiano Ronaldo in his new Juventus kit in a new post on the official EA Sports Twitter account for FIFA 18. It’s official, Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid and transferred to Juventus. The Old Lady agreed on a fee in the region of £100 million with Los Blancos for Ronaldo and whilst this is an exciting time for world football, not least Serie A, it also has huge implications on FIFA 19.

Having Ronaldo in the club Real Madrid was one of the best football clubs in the whole world. The ill- effects of Ronaldo leaving the club have already started to show up. The biggest Electronic Arts game FIFA had a Real Madrid players lineup on the cover of the game. After Ronaldo made his Juventus move official FIFA launched his new FIFA 19 cover with the Juventus team line up.

Real madrid was really very confident about club not being affected by this transfer, but Ronaldo is a brand in himself.

Now talking about the game, talking about the gameplay Passing has been re-worked to feel more natural, while an active touch system allows better first touches from different parts of the body.

It also opens up the possibility of a feint attack – where, as the ball approaches, you can shift your weight one way, before going the other.

This was slightly overshadowed by the Champions League announcement, but yes the Europa League will also be in FIFA 19. Expect the full broadcast package, too. A simple but welcome change.

One team will now have triangle icons, the other will have circles. There’s greater control over your team’s defensive style, too – with new settings: “pressure after possession loss,” “constant pressure,” “drop back,” “balanced,” and “pressure on heavy touch.”
