Facebook not really affected by the Cambridge Analytica Scandal
Facebook suffered a major outrage after the Cambridge Analytica scandal got discovered, but according to a survey conducted by Reuters/Ipsos, Facebook hasn’t really suffered any major loss in terms of usage over the past few weeks.
Even though many tech observers are encouraging users to leave this platform, but according to the observation Facebook users aren’t really deleting their accounts.
About 43% of the users stated that they haven’t changed their usage habits in the weeks following the scandal, and something amazing is that 22% indicated that they use Facebook more. With 16% stating that they use Facebook less now and 3% indicating that they have deleted their accounts.
Reuters made the following statement about the results:
Earlier Mark Zuckerberg has stated in the testimony before Congress that they haven’t suffered a major drop in overall usage rates.
