Roger Federer reaches Wimbledon Semi-finals - defeats Canadian Milos Raonic

It’s the Wimbledon season and the 7 time champion Roger Federer has stormed into the Wimbledon Semi-finals for the twelfth time in his career. On Wednesday, he comprehensively defeated Milos Raonic by 6-4, 6-2, 7-6(7/4).

Roger Federer was playing his 100th match at the age of 35.He will now turn against the 2010 runner-up, Tomas Berdych to reserve his place in the Wimbledon finals.

Tomas Berdych has made it to the final four after Novak Djokovic announced retirement due to an elbow injury.

Federer is looking to record his 8th Wimbledon title.

In his speech he said

100 matches, I can't believe it, that's a lot. I am very happy my body kept me going over all these years. It was a perfect setting, beautiful weather -- a Mexican wave on Centre Court; you don't see that every day. I'm so happy to be through.

I am very pleased with how I'm playing. You can always play a little better. You adjust to the conditions. It's like going to work, you can't produce the best every single day but you have to make sure your average is as high as possible.

Milos Raonic had defeated Federer in the 2016 semi-finals.
