Tom Holland accidentally reveals title for Spider-Man sequel

Tom Holland, the English actor who is best known for playing Spider-Man the Marvel movies, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, is set for his next movie Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. But the other day on the Instagram he revealed that the title for the 2019 sequel of Spider-Man: Homecoming will be Spider-man: Far From Home which is due in theaters on July 5, 2019. Holland was in Seattle to attend Ace Comic-Con when he took to social media to update his fans.

He said he knew nothing about the “Spider-Man…” sequel but had received the script for the movie. In his video, he said “I wanted to apologize because there’s no real revelation coming out this weekend about Spiderman 2… I don’t know much about it. I’m a little confused as I died (referring to Infinity War). So, I don’t really know how it all comes into play. But I got the new script. I’m super excited to read it,” Holland said in the video. But during the video when the actor lifted his iPad, the people watching it could clearly see the name of the movie which is ‘Spiderman: Far From Home’.

I won’t say what the meanings are, but we enjoy that title because, like Homecoming, it is full of alternate meaning. And we liked continuing the ‘Home’ thing.

Well if we talk about the movie we’ve previously heard that it is being filmed in various European cities – including London, Venice, and Prague – and also we heard the rumors about the movie’s plot involving a school field trip or exchange program. Spider-Man: Homecoming’s director Jon Watts returned to direct the sequel, which is expected to begin filming this summer and wrap in December and is expected to release on July 5, 2019. The sequel recently cast Jake Gyllenhaal as the villain Mysterio. Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon all return.

Holland has become known for accidentally spoiling details about the Marvel movies he stars in. Holland has gained a bit of a reputation for failing to maintain an absolute lockdown on spoilers in the Marvel universe — and elsewhere. It seems that because of this habit, he had very little access to the script for Avengers: Infinity War in the interviews.
