HTC Vive VR launched in India – but price would bother you

HTC launched the Vive VR in the global markets in 2016. Indian fans of HTC were eagerly waiting for its launch in India. And now finally HTC has launched this Vive VR in India. We were expecting the price of HTC vive VR is be around Rs. 90,000 and it has been launched something near to that. The HTC vive VR has been launched at a huge price of Rs. 92,990 and it will be available in May.

Amazon India will exclusively sell the HTC vive VR in the Indian market and the pre orders for this VR were started this Saturday.

HTC- South Asia President. Faisal Siddiqui said that, “We are delighted to launch Vive in India. Vive has totally transformed the way we interact with the world, bringing ultimate mainstream experience to the consumer. Now consumers and developers can experience immersive virtual reality in a way that reshapes human imagination beyond boundaries”

At this huge price, this VR will be a heavy dent on your pocket. India has not yet adopted itself to the high end VR and therefore it is expected that HTC Vive VR will get a slow start in India. The nearest competitor of HTC Vive is Sony PS VR which is better and far better cheaper than this HTC vive VR. The Sony’s VR is available at Rs. 41,990.
