With various events and concerts being canceled or suspended amid Coronavirus outbreak, Apple has also decided to host its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference 2020 online. The conference is supposed to take place in June and sessions will be held entirely online.
Apple’s WWDC event is a place for millions of developers all over the world to learn about all the latest trends in technologies and it serves as a great platform for them to explore new features on Apple framework.
In an official statement Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller said:
We are delivering WWDC 2020 this June in an innovative way to millions of developers around the world, bringing the entire developer community together with a new experience. The current health situation has required that we create a new WWDC 2020 format that delivers a full program with an online keynote and sessions, offering a great learning experience for our entire developer community, all around the world. We will be sharing all of the details in the weeks ahead.
Apple’s registered community includes 23 million developers across 155 countries and regions, and this event helps in providing an insight into the future of iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS.
