Avengers Endgame is re-releasing in the theaters with a new extra footage

Avengers Endgame has so far collected 2.74 billion dollars at the worldwide box office and is just a few million behind James Cameron’s Avatar but this might change soon. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that the movie will be headed back to the theaters with a new post-credit scene and will also show a tribute to Stan Lee.

Kevin said, “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”

The film will “return” on the weekend of June 28. It is not likely that it will remain in the theaters for a long time just like before but it will surely make an impact.

Endgame marks the end of a 22 movies long MCU journey but it still wasn’t enough to beat “Avatar” which remains the highest grossing movie worldwide. But the re-releasing of the movie with new footage is definitely going to do the trick. Also, this new release is going to be a major boost up for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Now, this is some news to be pretty excited about. People have a chance to rewatch it also with new footage before Spider-Man: Far From Home releases in the theaters next month.
