Budget-friendly Honor 6a launched with 13MP camera, Android Nougat and snapdragon 430

A new budget-friendly smartphone is launched by Huawei named Honor 6a. This smartphone is priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 7,500 or $115) for the 2GB/ 16GB variant and CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 9,400 or $145) for the 3GB/ 32GB model.

The phone consists of a 5-inch display with a 720p resolution and is loaded with Android Nougat. Inside there is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor running at 1.2 GHz. It contains a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP front-facing camera. For a long use Honor 6a comes with 3020 mAh battery, which Huawei claims that it can run videos for 12 hours straight. It also has a fingerprint scanner on its back.

It has a full uni metal body. It has a slot for micro-SD card which can support up to 128 GB of SDcard. Pre-orders for the Honor 6A begin on Thursday, May 25 in China. The phone will officially go on sale on June 1. GSMArena reports the phone will be sold in four different colors, but only the silver and gold editions have been officially revealed.
