Google might be downgrading its processor for Pixel 5 and here is the reason

As per some reports, it is suggested that the new Pixel flagship, the Pixel 5 will have a Snapdragon 765 processor instead of the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor. If this is true then this is a major downgrade for Google and also the performance of the next flagship.

But there are some pretty strong reasons why Google is making this shift. One such reason is to become the mid-tier king. Pixel has already been boasting flagship specs and with that camera, Pixel is certainly a great pick. But it always has been overshadowed by the likes of Apple and Samsung. So Google cuts down the price of Pixel and presents similar flagship features, now this could be a real deal.

Pixel having a Snapdragon 765 maybe won’t really affect the smartphone, because of the software that they have and with some software tweaks they can better manage RAM and processor handling. Pixels have always had best smartphone cameras and if that’s what the case with Pixel 5, then the smartphone could pretty easily make up for the loss in the processor category.
