Is it a Phone or an 18000 mAh battery? Let’s find out.
Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 held in Barcelona brought us a great deal of surprises indicating that 2019 is going to be a year full of high specs devices for tech enthusiasts. From bringing us foldable mobile phones like Mate X and Galaxy Fold, the MWC brought us various other devices like curved smart-watches too.
Another interesting but unfortunately less demanding device that the world noticed in MWC 2019 was a smartphone that has an 18,000mAh battery in it. Yes, you read it all correct, “an 18,000mAh battery has a phone in it.”
Energizer has shown off its new Android device, the ‘Power Max P18K Pop, at MWC 2019. The device is packing an 18,000mAh battery, which is nearly five times the size of an average android battery and the main reason behind the device to be in the limelight at MWC 2019. While others are trying to make phones as slim and light as possible, Energizer has worked opposite to the trend making a phone 18mm thick.
Talking about the features and specification of the Power Max P18K Pop, the device features a 6.2-inch LCD display, a pop-up dual camera for selfies, triple cameras at the back, and runs on the latest Android 9 Pie. Having internal storage of 128GB with 6GB of RAM, the device uses Media Tek processor. As far as the battery is concerned the device gives you a stand-by time of 50 hours or is said to be good for 200 hours of video playback. The device supports Fast Charging, obviously, it does seeing the huge battery it carries with it, and is said to take an approximate time of eight to nine hours to fully charge.
The Power Max P18K Pop price will be set at $680 and will be launched in Europe in June. There are no official words of the device to be released in the US yet. Even when I think the device might not be a demanding one, we cannot say what impact it will have on the market after it is released. Would you buy one if you get the chance?
