Jennifer Aniston broke Instagram with her 'Friends' selfie
Instagram has always been a way to connect with the world. Everybody who wants to have the pleasure of knowing what's happening with other people is on the platform. That is why we follow our favorite and the biggest celebrities in the world to get an insight into their life. Well, some might not be on the platform, for instance, Jennifer Aniston.
All of the other friends' cast would post a dozen of pictures together either old ones from the set or current ones during a get-together. But sadly they were unable to tag Jen or Mathey because they weren't on the platform. Well, this might not be a problem anymore.
One of the famous "friends" cast we all know, Jennifer Aniston who's also known by the name of Rachel Green just joined the Instagram a few days back and people went crazy. She posted a photo with her former 'Friends' co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc with the caption “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too! HI INSTAGRAM.”
Her entrance was so grand, in fact, that she crashed the app. Fans who rushed to follow her were met by the “follow” button changing briefly to “following” and then switching back. Despite that glitch, and with her account only a few hours old, Aniston already had a million and a half followers.
In just her first two days on Instagram, Jennifer Aniston beat Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Guinness World Record for getting one million followers in the fastest amount of time. She set the world record in just five hours and 16 minutes and temporarily broke the platform as well.
Jennifer Aniston now has 11.7 and counting followers. In her next post, she apologized to all her fans for causing all the technical issues on Instagram because so many more people wanted to follow her. Her caption made it all clear.
She wrote "I swear I didn't mean to break it... Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome ♥️".
