Logitech acquires Astro Gaming to expand its gaming consoles business

Logitech International has officially announced that the company will acquire the gaming headset manufacturer company “Astro Gaming” in the bidding deal of $85 million. It is expected that the deal will be completed in early August.

The company also said that they are looking for more acquisitions and investments in addition to the deal of acquiring Astro Gaming. It was made clear by the company that there are looking for the long-term growth in the gaming markets.

Astro Gaming is the manufacturers of famous gaming headsets model A50 and A40.These headsets were specially designed for the professional gamers.

Ujesh Desai, the Vice President and General Manager for Logitech said:

Logitech G is the gaming series of Logitech International and it has been making many innovative products in keyboards and headsets.
