Mbappe taking the crown from Messi and Ronaldo
Kylian Mbappe, 19, scored his side's fourth goal as France beat Croatia 4-2 in the World Cup final in Moscow, and won the tournament's best young player award. Mbappe is the second teenager and youngest player to win a finale after Pele in 1958. Ronaldo, 33, and Messi, 31, have been considered the best players in the world for a decade but Mbappe surely took over them in this year’s world cup. On 15 July, Mbappé scored with a 25-yard strike against Croatia in the 2018 World Cup Final, with France winning 4–2. He became the second teenager, after Pelé, to score in a World Cup Final, and with four goals in the tournament, he received the FIFA World Cup Best Young Player Award.
KYLIAN Mbappe will leave Russia this week with not just the World Cup, but with a personal message from arguably the greatest player of all time, Pele.
Mbappe had been touted as one of football’s brightest stars of the future before the World Cup, but as it turns out, he is one of the brightest stars of now. He made his mark on world football in emphatic style in Russia, playing in all seven of France’s matches and scoring four goals. The goals came in big moments too; two which sunk Argentina in a round of 16 epics and one in the final, with the first coming against Peru. But as impressive as the statistics are, they still don’t tell the full story of his World Cup dominance, which led to him being announced as the tournament’s best young player.
The 19-year-old Paris Saint-German star had four goals, including one in the final and three in the knockout stage. A guy who already blew up before the tournament at Monaco, he now enters the future as the best young player in the world. All signs point to him winning the Ballon d'Or award in a few years.
He truly is an inspiration for all the young fans and all the youth who, after this world cup, earns respect and love from all around the love. This match was indeed a breathtaking one and everyone is going to remember it for a long time and the credit goes to this year’s legend, Kylian Mbappe.
