Moto G7 Plus to come with up to 6GB of RAM, octa-core processor
As Motorola gears up to launch its next-generation lineup of G7 smartphones, the rumours are also on the leak. Speaking about a lineup, the Moto G7 series will include four smartphone launches - the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power, and the Moto G7 Play. We have already seen a number of photos and specifications listings and pricing information for the Moto G7 lineup of smartphones.
Now in recent news, the Moto G7 Plus has been spotted listed on certification website TENAA. The TENAA listing portrays the Moto G7 Plus as the XT1965-6 where the '6' reportedly stands for the Chinese variant of the phone. The leak gives us new information on the Moto G7 Plus smartphone's battery and rear camera specifications.
According to the listing on TENAA, the Moto model number XT1965-6 will come featuring an octa-core SoC which includes a 1.8GHz CPU and a 1.6GHz CPU. The smartphone will come in two variants - a 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, and a second one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both models will have support for expandable storage via microSD card slots.
The listing also points towards the fact that the Moto G7 Plus will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The smartphone will be powered by a 2,820mAh battery, according to the listing. The listing proves the earlier leak that the Moto G7 Plus will get a 3,000mAh battery. The listing also states the rear camera to be an 8-megapixel unit which is quite different from earlier leaks which had stated that the Moto G7 Plus will arrive with a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel dual camera configuration. The listing on TENAA was initially spotted by Gizmochina.
Moto had earlier accidentally revealed the smartphones in the G7 lineup - the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play, and Moto G7 Power. Motorola has been tipped to launch their next generation range at an event held on February 7 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, wherein they will be announcing pricing details and availability for the Moto G7 series of smartphones.
