OnePlus 5 set to be launched – expect some killer specs

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has now officially announced that the new model OnePlus 5 will launch on June 22 in India. One of the most awaited smartphones of this year, OnePlus 5 will be launched at an event in Mumbai’s NSCI Dome where CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau will also be present.

This smartphone has been the talk of the town this year and will be released as the successor of OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3.

The event is a big start studded event and it has been publically announced with a tagline “Focus on what matters”. It must be noted that OnePlus 5 will be launched internationally on June 20.

CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau has told that the phone will be in the form of ultra-thin flagship category. Pete Lau also shared few screenshots of the Hydrogen OS home screen of this flagship device and which showed that various Microsoft apps such as Outlook will come preloaded on this device.

OnePlus 5 will be officially launched internationally on 20 June at 9:30 PM IST. Various other events have been planned in other big cities such as New York, Paris, London, and Amsterdam.

Like the earlier ones, this launch will be made through live streaming at the company’s website.
