Xiaomi released their new phone of the Mi Mix Series and just like its predecessors this model also introduces a whole new level of innovation. With curved displays and no bezel smartphones being popular, Mi Mix Alpha introduces a 180.6% screen to body ratio.

Xiaomi Mi Mix is a pretty amazing futuristic looking phone having a Surround Display, and covering most of the phone and the only part where metal is visible is on the back where a vertical module has the camera setup. Xiaomi dubbed it as having 180% screen, with 100% on the front and 80% on the back.

What’s interesting is that status icons like network signal and battery charge level are displayed on the side accompanied with pressure-sensitive volume buttons which are also on the side of the phone.

If this all is not interesting then you need to know that it also houses Samsung’s 108 MP camera sensor, combining the pixels together and making it a 27 MP camera at the end. Also, there is no selfie camera, all you need to do is turn your phone and use back screen as a viewfinder.

The phone also supports 5G and comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. It has 12 GB with 512 GB of storage, a 40W wired fast charging, and a massive 4,050 mAh battery.

It is a concept phone for now and will go into small-scale production this December priced at $2,800.
