Why conspiracy theorists believe upcoming Solar Eclipse is the end of the world
If we go by the word of some online doom-mongers, then the world is soon expected to end. Conspiracy theorists believe that this month’s solar eclipse will initiate a chain of events that will eventually end the human race. The alleged Planet X or Nibiru is supposed to be visible in the space after eclipse and then it will collide with the Earth.
Is it going to happen?
Christian numerologist David Meade has warned upon the possible crash of the giant Planet X into Earth which is being driven by a distant star. He is also the author of the book Planet X – The 2017 Arrival in which he details the events and theory behind the supposed end of the Earth. Nibiru or Planet X has been predicted to end the Earth several times since 2003.
“The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017, is a major – huge – harbinger,” he told the Daily Star.
David Meade has presented many facts from Bible to back his unusual claims. But still many believe that David Meade puts weird facts on his website to bring visitors and some readers have also commented that his book in which he claims to have put forward scientific evidence, is more of a religious argument.
Well, scientist community does not believe in this theory and even NASA came out saying that it is an internet hoax.
Is there really a Planet X?
In a statement NASA said:
Scientist community does not wary of David Meade claims and believes there is no chance for an interplanetary collision within a month.
However, in an article published by NASA, it has put forward probable existence of a planet lurking at the edge of the solar system known as Planet X or Planet 9 which takes about 10,000 years to 20,000 years to orbit the sun.
Taking into account all the facts, it seems highly improbable that Planet X is going to crash into Earth any sooner, but still, we have to wait till August 21 solar eclipse, to know what all secrets it has been hiding.
