Last June Samsung launched its Galaxy J3 pro in China with a 5.0-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 2,650 mAh battery. This phone was priced at 990 yuan which wasn’t bad asking price at all. This smartphone ran on Android 5.1.1 which was launched in April 2015.
But after a year Samsung has released the same phone in India with same specs and even with the same software and also still running on the 2-year-old Android version i.e Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
There are various questions like what made Samsung so long to launch J3 pro to India and why is it still running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but we don’t have many answers.
But still, there are few changes in the Indian version of J3 that the India-bound J3 Pro is powered by a 1.5 GHz Spreadtrum processor, and also comes with a slightly less beefy 2,600 mAh battery.
As now Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro is launched in India and you can buy it for Rs 7,990 ($124) with color variants of black, white, gold. But we won’t be recommending you this smartphone as there are much more budget friendly smartphones better than this available in the market.
