Smartron unveils srt.phone – the phone by Sachin Tendulkar

Smartron announced the launch of their latest product, srt.phone. Smartron, an Indian startup, launched the mobile in a press event in New Delhi.

The phone is by Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest cricketer’s of all time. Tendulkar is acting as a brand ambassador of the company and is also an investor in the same.

The smartphone comes equipped with tronx, which is the company’s service ecosystem. Company’s previous launches like t.phone and t.book were also equipped with the same. It provides a way to connect different devices together. The phone also offers unlimited cloud storage on tcloud.

Specifications

The smartphone will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and it is powered by 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 652 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and will have an internal storage of 64 GB. It houses Adreno 510 GPU which is pretty decent.

If look at the display, it has a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display, with 401 ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

On the back, we have a 13 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Whereas the front camera is a wide-angle 5 MP selfie camera. It is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

Price and Availability

For now, the phone is available exclusively on Flipkart. It comes in two variants one with 32 GB internal storage and another one with a 64 GB internal storage. The price for 32 GB variant is Rs. 12,999 while the 64 GB variant is of Rs. 13,999.

Beside this, there are also two limited edition Sachin Tendulkar covers available on Flipkart as part of the launch offer.
