What OnePlus is trying to achieve from OnePlus 5

OnePlus is launching its new phone today i.e. OnePlus 5. The most awaited smartphone nowadays. Everyone is waiting for its reveal, though OnePlus has officially shown the rear of the smartphone through one of its tweets. But still, the specs are not out yet.

According to the leaks, OnePlus 5 will be offering 8 GB of ram with latest Snapdragon 835, which might make it the best smartphone in the market. But what about its camera? In OnePlus 3T it had a 16 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture camera which was a good camera but not the camera we wanted to see.

Carl Pie in a conference with theverge said: “OnePlus 3T had a good camera but not an awesome one which users want, so this time we have focused mainly on the camera of OnePlus 5 so as to make it the camera everyone wants.”

After hearing to these lines it is clear that OnePlus is trying to do something great with the camera this time. Even the OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau shared a camera sample taken with the camera on the OnePlus 5 and it was stunning.

OnePlus, this time has tried really to make an awesome camera as you can see in the top picture. In the picture, there are various prototypes which OnePlus has done to place the camera but it seems like the perfect place was the top left corner same as the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. Though it makes OnePlus 5 lookalike iPhone 7 Plus. Pete Lau even thanked Apple for helping them in educating the market about dual camera setup.
