Roger Federer completed his 19th grand slam title win after winning the finals of the Wimbledon in straight sets. After this win, he is widely being entitled as one of the greatest sportsperson and the best tennis has seen.
It was an afternoon filled with emotions and was the final between Roger Federer and Marin Cilic. From the very beginning, Federer was a favorite as he was racing to his 8th Wimbledon title, and he proved why he is one of the best as he came out on top without losing any sets and won the match in one hour and 41 minutes.
With this win at the age of 35, Federer became the oldest Wimbledon title winner. It was never supposed to be easy for Cilic as he was still struggling with the injury on his foot after the semi final against Sam Querry.
