Google is a few months away from unveiling its new flagship smartphone. The previous Google pixel was a great hit in market and by looking at the image of the new Pixel XL it looks like Google has learnt a lot from its competitors. The same bezel-less screen like the S8 makes the new Pixel much better looking than the previous one.
The phone’s screen looks curved at the edges with an aspect ratio of 2:1 as of the LG G6. The camera in this device looks a little big but the good thing is it doesn’t have a camera bump. The volume rocker and power button are on the same side of the phone i.e. right side of the smartphone.
Rumors are that new Google pixel XL might come with a squeezable design just like in the HTC U11. We can see a very wide speaker grille at the top, as well as the front-facing camera. It’s unclear whether this speaker will be used in tandem with a bottom-firing driver, HTC-style, to create a “stereo” effect, but it wouldn’t surprise me. As to the headphone jack, we’re not really sure what the status of that is, unfortunately.
The name of this device is also not confirmed. Google might name this as Pixel 2 XL or Pixel 2017. But for understanding, we used new Pixel XL only.
