Last year Google launched its new series of smartphone named Google Pixel and also launched their first smartphone of this series “Google Pixel”. The smartphone was a great hit and also became the flagship killer of that time.
But now after a year, various new features have been included in other smartphones like dual cameras, bezelless displays etc which makes the competition much more tough for Google to be successful with their new smartphone which might have a name “Pixel 2”.
Leaks are that Google will be launching two new smartphones named Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2. Of the two devices, the Pixel 2 XL is rumored to be the bigger upgrade. The larger phone is said to be getting a new screen design with reduced bezels reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S8, while the Pixel 2 is will supposedly offer a similar design to the original.
This time Google might also come with the feature of Squeezable edges similar to HTC U11 along with OIS (optical image stabilization) for the cameras.
These smartphones might also come with IP67 water resistance. The conflicting part of the new smartphone is that whether the both Pixels will have headphone jack or not.
Both the smartphones will be flagship devices with a high price tag and will be competing with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone X.
