Motorola today announced that it’s bringing the Motorola One to the United States a few months after the Android One phone launched internationally. It’s going to be available for $399 and you can order it online from November 9 onwards or find in stores from November 11.
The Motorola One has a look that’s very similar to Apple’s iPhone X with a notched 5.9-inch display and has a massive 5000 mAh battery with which enjoy up to two days with a single charge. A 15.7cm Max Vision Full HD+ screen delivers the expansive views you’ve been craving, with an aspect ratio of 19:9 so you can see more at a glance. With 4 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 636 octa-core processor, Motorola one power responds to your touch in an instant.
You’ll feel the difference playing games, watching movies, and doing whatever you need to do. Capture clear, bright, detail-rich images, even in low light. The 16 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera system makes sure every shot is your best. Also, shoot 4K videos on the go. Plus, the 12 MP front camera lets you turn everyday selfies into extraordinary ones by adding a blurred background effect in real time. The device’s “chin” is big enough for Moto to stamp its logo on.
The fact that the Motorola One runs Android One means buyers are guaranteed a secured, compatible road forward for updates. Motorola says the device, will be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo but will be updated to Android 9 Pie shortly, and eventually Android Q. Equally as important, the phone is guaranteed security updates for three years. Motorola’s software experience is already very close to stock Android, and some of the company’s signature modifications and shortcuts are also included on the One.
