2019 Jaguar F Type R: Inheriting the rich lineage

The new 2019 Jaguar F Type R showcased at the LA Auto Show combines the features of both sports and luxury cars. A personification of beauty, this car inherits a really elegant and beautiful design from its predecessors, but still unique in itself.

As good as it looks from outside there is a beast hidden inside. It has a 5.0L Supercharged V8 engine that creates a 550 HP with 699 Nm torque, and as this video by PowerDrift highlights, this is the second most powerful F type in the lineup behind SVR.

DESIGN

Designed by Ian Callum, the car holds an elegant yet powerful design that reflects what an F-Type really is. The large front-grille shows the boldness of the vehicle, combined with the new LED headlamps gives it a more modern look.
