With just weeks away from the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 series, a new leak has unveiled that the S10 series will support faster and more secure Wi-Fi connectivity. All the three models of the S10 series are expected to work on a new Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ax (or Wi-Fi 6).
Wi-Fi 6 does not offer huge speed gains for individual devices but if you have a lot of electronic devices at one place, such as your home, connected to the same Wi-Fi networks then you can see the benefits of Wi-Fi 6, but only if those devices also support Wi-Fi 6. Also, you need a Wi-Fi 6 router to enjoy the benefits of the fast network which are still not widely available in the market.
However, the feature is good for the long run because it is been rumoured that by the end of this year most of the devices and routers you buy may support this next-gen network feature.
The S10 line up of the company comes with the top end processor of Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855. The higher-spec models could be the first to get Samsung’s Infinity-O display, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a triple camera combo, while the so-called “budget” model may offer affordable options for the first time.
The three Galaxy S10 models: a standard S10, high- specs S10 Plus and a “budget” S10 E will be available to pre-order on 20th of February before it goes on sale on 8 March.
