Nissan IMs: Nissan’s futuristic sports sedan unveiled at Detroit Auto Show

With all sorts of future cars being showcased at the Detroit Auto Show which ended like a week ago, Nissan has introduced an all-new segment with their new concept car Nissan IMs which they call as “elevated sports sedan”. The car combines the higher ride of a crossover with the shape of a traditional sedan.

With the Nissan IMs, the company has introduced a new seating architecture ‘2+1+2’. It is an all wheel drive, autonomous and runs on electricity as to make it a car of future. It is a sports sedan because it has a motor at the front as well as at the back axle which produces a power of 483 horsepowers with 800 NM torque.

2+1+2 seating?

Well, IMs concept has a new seating architecture which creates an all-new segment. The rear set of the vehicle will consist of an uplifted premier seat, that will surely give you a bit more comfortable and premier ride.

WIth a Nissan logo at the front, the design is very much interesting, with the flat front section and thin lighting design. The body design is made to look futuristic with the body painted with liquid metal. The large 22 inches not only provide sporty look but also provide the feel of a futuristic car.

Nissan is very much looking for an electric future as it has already stated that it would be coming out with 7 electric cars by the year 2022.
