Apple, as always, will introduce their next generation iPhone in the second half of the year 2019. Wireless charging has been a major thing for the last few generations in iPhone and following the trend in the mobile world, Apple might introduce two-way wireless charging in their next iPhone. The “bilateral” wireless charging is a feature we have previously seen in the Huawei Mate 20 series and the same feature was introduced in Samsung’s Galaxy S series this year.
According to reports by Japanese blog Macotakara (via 9to5Mac ), the iPhone 11 will be given a feature of reverse charging. In layman language, now your iPhone will be capable of sharing its power with other phone or devices capable of being charged wirelessly. The new iPhone will be capable of acting as a wireless charging pad for other devices, sharing its battery power with other devices – as long as it supports Qi wireless charging.
We can also expect a better battery capacity in the new handset and the company may include an 18W fast charger in the box of the new iPhone this time replacing 5W USB A adapter for the same purpose.

This new feature in the new Apple device does seem very useful especially after the tech giant has already announced that the next-gen of AirPods would come with wireless charging case. Thus, helping you to charge your AirPods with your iPhone when they are running low on battery, sounds cool right?.
However, it is interesting to know that Apple will not be utilizing a USB-C Type port this year. The new iPads were recently launched with the same lightning port suggesting the company will continue to retain the same in the new iPhone as well. There are still no official words on these features for the next generation iPhone yet, but we are expecting it very soon.
