The Beyond meat is a huge success, is there a lot of fake food on the way

The stock prices of the beyond meat are touching skies. Some of the companies that are on the way to promote the beyond meat burgers include A&W and Triple O’s. People want to eat meat, but they also want to stay healthy at the same time. The concept of the beyond meat patty is, instead of making the burger patty from actual meat. These companies are making some plant-based patties which taste a 100% like meat.

It is the same concept as the concept of Coke and the Diet Coke. Instead of putting sugar in the Coke they put in an artificial sweetener known as aspartame. According to womenshealthmag , the Beyond Burger is a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly plant-based burger. But it’s not made from actual vegetables. The patties pack four main ingredients: water, pea protein isolate, canola oil, and refined coconut oil. These provide the protein, heft, and moisture/juiciness of the burger. Plus, they contain minimal amounts of other ingredients, like potato starch, natural flavor, yeast extract, and beet juice extract.

CNN Business stats show that Anticipation was high ahead of beyond’s report, as investors waited to find out how the much-hyped company that makes plant-based protein has been performing. Shares jumped about 22% after hours, putting it above nearly five times its IPO price of $25 per share. Beyond Meat (BYND) shares were rising more than 9% after hours after the company reported first-quarter results that topped analyst expectations.

The El Segundo, CA-based company reported a 215% increase in net revenues to $40.2 million, yielding a net loss of 14 cents per share. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting the company to report a net loss of 15 cents per share on revenue of $38.9 million.

This was the company’s first earning release since debut as a public company in May. The stock has jumped 51% since its IPO.

The price at which BYND started was around $25USD. Now the stock has jumped to $99USD. The stock spiked because people are loving the beyond-meat patty. The question is that will this huge success of the BYND push them to make or find out new ways to make fake food. Is it healthy for our health? People have researched that the Beyond-Meat patty is not completely vegetarian.

Tell us in the comments. What do you think about the beyond-meat burgers. How far do you think will these companies take the concept fake food?
