Augmented reality and virtual reality (most commonly known as AR and VR) are at the top of the technological world. Seeing and experiencing things when you are not actually present there is what people crave for in today’s time. So, every other company comes up with gadgets to enhance this technology.
Apple is also working on augmented and virtual reality devices that works on 3-D sensor systems. The new iPad Pro will release in 2020 which is rumored to have two camera sensors. One will work as a normal picture camera while the other will generate 3-D model design for your rooms and other objects and people.
This Cupertino, California based technology is also planning to add these sensors in upcoming iPhones as well which will release after the release of iPad Pro along with 5G networks.

In 2022, Apple aims to release a combined VR and AR headset with a focus on gaming, watching the video and virtual meetings. The company also plans to release a pair of AR glasses that are going to be super lightweight opposing the other companies with AR glasses.
Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook mentioned that he had been thinking about AR and wants the company to push further than it’s new iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. The new 3-D sensor system will be the centerpiece of this. It has been in development inside Apple for several years and is a more advanced version of the Face ID sensor on the front of Apple’s latest mobile devices.
Apple has a huge team of engineers working on this AR and VR plan initiative which is led by vice president Mike Rockwell. The team also has ex-NASA engineers, former game developers, and graphics experts. It is based in a nondescript area of Sunnyvale, California, not far from Apple’s main campus in Cupertino.
