James Bond will always be played by a male character, says producer

People have recently voiced their opinion on how female actresses should be now given an opportunity to play the lead character in James Bond movies. Even actor Pierce Brosnan who has played James Bond in movies was in favor of the women to take up the lead role.

But it all came to rest when the current producer of James Bond movies Barbara Broccoli said that James Bond is going to be a male led role. In an interview with Variety she explained that as long as she is producing the movies, James Bond is going to be a man, but can be of any color.

Instead she is interested in creating more stronger female characters in the movie. With No Time To Die being reported as the last Bond movie for Daniel Craig, it is to be seen who steps up as the next James Bond.

No Time To Die will be available in theaters on April 10, 2020.
