The spread of COVID-19 has forced people to remain inside and practice Social Distancing. Not only common people but major events and shows have also faced the havoc caused by Coronavirus as most of these events are being canceled or delayed.
One such event is the 73rd Cannes Film Festival which was scheduled to take place from May 12 to 23. The announcement was made through a tweet on March 19:

France has gone national lockdown, with President announcing various strict measures to stop the spread of the virus. The country is completely shut down for 15 days starting from March 17.
