The Ultraviolette F77 is India’s first performance-oriented electric motorcycle, with a claimed top speed of 150 kmph, and 0 to 100 kmph claimed acceleration in 7.5 seconds. The F77 will be available in three variants – Lightning, Shadow and Laser. \It is powered by an air-cooled, brushless DC (BLDC) motor with an output of 25 kW (33.5 bhp) with a massive 450 Nm of torque on the rear wheel.
The F 77 will get three riding modes – Eco, Sport and Insane, and will priced from around Rs. 3 lakh. The electric power comes from three slim and modular lithium-ion battery packs which offer a claimed range of 130-140 km on a full charge. The battery packs can be charged fully from a standard charger in 5 hours, and a portable fast charger will allow a 0 to 80 per cent charge in just 50 minutes, with a full charge from the fast charger possible in just 90 minutes.
