Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for the Mortal Kombat reboot and the trailer gives a glimpse of various game characters and also lots of violent killings. The company has released two trailers and one of them is a red-band version.
The trailer opens with Sub-Zero killing a squad who is there to catch him, pretty violent from the start itself. Then we get to know about Cole Young (played by Lewis Tan), who has a dragon-shaped scar on his chest, which he thinks is a birthmark.
But the mark signifies the “Mortal Kombat” tournament which Cole is going to fight in. The trailer ends with Sub Zero and Scorpion fighting each other.
The trailer reveals various characters such as Sonya, Kano, Raiden, Jax, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, and Kung Lao.
Like all of Warner Bros. 2021 blockbusters, Mortal Kombat will be released in theaters and on HBO Max simultaneously on April 16th, 2021.
