Venom is back as the long-awaited sequel is finally happening. Sony today released the trailer for Venom 2 bringing back Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock.
In the trailer, Tom Hardy is shown cooking food with the assistance of Venom as it seems that Eddie Brock has made some sort of peace with his alter-ego Venom.
We also get a sneak peek into Venom’s arch-nemesis Carnage. Woody Harrelson who is a serialized killer, survives a lethal injection in prison, which awakens the symbiote inside of him and we will probably see the epic showdown between the two symbiotes.
“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is set to release on Sept. 24, 2021. Originally scheduled for October 2020, the film has been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most recently getting pushed back one week from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24.
The first ‘Venom‘ was a box office hit as the movie grossed over $800 million globally, and the same can be assumed for the sequel too. For the sequel, Andy Serkis has helmed the directorial role.
