The CBSE and ICSE boards have respectively decided to cancel the 12th board exam amidst COVID 19.
Today the prime minister Narendra Modi tweeted that the government has decided to cancel exams as it’s not a suitable situation. It’s important to look out for health first.
As for now, the exam criteria haven’t been properly proposed but they will be using well-defined objective criteria for the declaration of results. It’s also been decided that like the previous year If some students have a desire to take the exam that option will also be available.
The decision has been made by keeping in mind the current situation of the country and the mental health of the students.
