As per the new rotation, from July all the Disney+ global series will officially be released on Wednesdays rather than Fridays.
This is change has been made in keeping consideration of all the increasing number of original tv shows. Movies will still continue to release on fridays.
The first series to implement this change is Loki. It was first premiered on Wednesday, which was the most viewed premiere.
Some shows of Hotstar like Turner & Hooch, Monsters, inc. spinoff Monsters at Work have postponed their dates due to the new Wednesday schedule.
However few series like the Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse Season Two, will be released earlier. it will be available on hotstar on july 28th (which is wednesday) instaed of july 30th .
According to a hollywood reporter, Fridays are most certainly have been the most appropriate time to premiere new series.
