GTA 6 release date leaked, we could have to wait until 2025

If you are a GTA fan then we have bad news for you, as per leaks Rockstar Games has pushed back the release date for GTA 6 and is supposed to be released in 2024-2025.

So as per this report, you might have to wait 4 more years to play the next installment of GTA 6. The publisher is silent on the development of the project and the case may be that the game is not under active development as of now.

The most recent leaks come from famed Call of Duty leaker, who happens to dabble in other games as well, Tom Henderson. Tom claims that his sources have brought information to light regarding GTA 6 such as the game being set in modern-day Vice City.

According to him, GTA 6 is likely to have a modern setting and this stems from the simple reason that it worked very well for Grand Theft Auto Online. This will have the added bonus of bringing in existing players.

The reason behind that may well be the corona pandemic and subsequent lockdowns and even now the threat that new mutated versions of the virus pose for everyone. In this scenario, it becomes important to keep employees safe.

Whatever the reason may be, what is looking to be certain is that GTA 6 is going to be long wait.
