We people of the 21st century tend to live in the world of technology using smartphones nowadays is part of our life and more than that health monitoring apps have become a necessity for some people.
People with health gadgets and smartphones customarily turn up to doctors’ desks with statistics from apps delineating everything from heart rate to sleep hour and its pattern.
And to help them here with the latest iOS update this season, users can now directly send the information from their app to doctors’ electronic medical record system.
This integration makes it easier for both patient and the doctor to diagnose the condition and overall health of the patient.
Since 2018 users could already pull the data from doctors’ systems, Apple has allowed people to add records from dozens of clinics and hospitals to their health app.
This new integration will work with six electronic medical records companies in the USA, which includes Cerner, who controls around a quarter of the market, and five smaller groups. Apple says it may add more partners over the course of time.
Doctors who use these records from companies can open any shared data regarding a patient’s health and condition.
