Microsoft recently announced its latest Windows 11 with all new features and designs. Now the company has announced that the first Windows 11 preview is available to download for Windows Insiders. The preview includes access to the new Start menu, multitasking features, and overhauled Microsoft Store.
Most of the changes previewed by Microsoft at the event will be available in the preview. The new Start menu with its centered launcher-like interface is part of this build, alongside rounded corners throughout the OS and improvements to the notification center, volume flyouts, and more.
Microsoft has not provided two main features in the preview and that are Android Apps on Windows and Microsoft Teams Integration. These features are still under development and will be available in later previews.
This preview also includes Windows latest multitasking feature which they call Snap Layouts, which will allow better multitasking by hovering over the maximize button.
If you’re interested in testing the Windows 11 preview build, you’ll need to enroll in the Windows Insiders program and then navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program on a Windows 10 device to enable the Dev Channel and obtain Windows 11 builds.
There are still many bugs that are known to Microsoft in this preview and if you end up installing this preview you might face some issues on with your PC.
