Cloud Gaming Service, Google Stadia will launch on November 19th

At the company’s fall hardware event, Google confirmed the launch of its cloud gaming service Google Stadia scheduled on November 19th, 2019. The announcement made by Rick Osterloh has revealed the key details which were missing from the time when Stadia was first introduced by the tech giant back in the month if March. Namely, what the heck we’re going to be able to play, how much we’ll pay, and when we can get started with the exciting new service — which beams high-end console and PC games to any Chrome web browser, Chromecast Ultra TV dongle or Pixel 3 smartphone from beefy new Google servers.

In a separate blog post published during the keynote, Google added that the servers will open to the public at 12 PM EST/9 AM PST for 14 different territories including the US, UK, and Canada. Besides these three countries, Stadia will set foot in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

"We're launching Stadia with 12 carefully-chosen games on day one, and an additional 14 will be available by the end of the year. There's something for everyone here: a library of superb, critically-acclaimed titles spanning multiple genres and age ratings," Google wrote in a blog post.

At launch, you'll be able to purchase Stadia's Founder's Edition for $129.99. The pack, which has been available to pre-order since June, includes a Chromecast Ultra, limited-edition Night Blue controller and two three-month Stadia Pro subscriptions. The Founder's Edition grants you access to Stadia's library of games at up to 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and with both HDR and 5.1 surround sound. After the first three months, the service costs $9.99 per month. Next year, Google plans to offer a Stadia Base subscription that allows you to buy games individually and play them at 1080p and 60 frames per second.

We are guessing that by now, after reading so much, you will be excited to know what games will Google bring for its users. Here is a list of all the games that will be available on Google Stadia at the time of its launch:

In addition to this, Google also listed a set of 14 games that will be available on its game subscription service later in 2019. There’s a separate free tier coming in 2020. Check out the entire list here:

Google is the biggest name out there in the cloud gaming services having the appropriate resources to bring a change in the way we play games. However, success or failure of Google stadia will decide the future of cloud gaming in near furture. All we can do is wait and watch Stadia to either bring a massive revolution in the gaming world or else fall hard.
