With every major smartphone manufacturer trying their hands on the folding smartphones, this might the time when Apple starts working on something of their own. Foldable smartphones are the future of the smartphone industry and watching Apple get on the trend is really exciting.
According to a new patent published by US Patent and Trademark Office, Apple has been working on a new wide hinge system, that would allow the display to fold, but also would minimize the crease in the middle.

As of now, Apple has not given any details about the device or when is it going to be released, but with more and more foldable smartphones entering the market, Apple would certainly not like to be left far behind from other manufacturers.
