Launch date of Xiaomi Mi 6 is confirmed

Earlier it was rumored that Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released in the month of April, but there was not any specific launch date. But now it is clear that this smartphone will be launched on April 19 at Beijing University.

In a post on MIUI form by a moderator, it was announced that the next flagship will be released on April 19.

The post stated that:

“In a live streaming session earlier with Mi Fans in India, Lei Jun confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 6, the successor to Mi 5 will debut in April. However, he did not reveal the exact date of launch and info about that. Since then, speculation is heating up and there are rumors claiming that Mi 6 was launching on 11th April which was obviously fake news. Here's the official information about the launch event for Mi 6. Xiaomi Mi 6 to be officially unveiled on 19th April in Beijing University Of Technology Gymnasium. It's been 203 days since Xiaomi last announced the Mi 5s. Xiaomi constantly exceeds expectations through innovation in every product. Mi 6 is going to be a powerhouse in terms of specs. There have been many rumors and almost all of them stating that this device will consist of Snapdragon 835. But apart from this one thing that stands out is that this device is going to have a dual edge curved display like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
