iPhone 8 with OLED Display Above $1000

Apple is expected to unveil its iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus this year, they will be featuring small upgrades over iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. But the phone that is going to grab the headlines will be iPhone 8. Rumors regarding this phone are already up, but popular Technology and Business magazine Fast Company has come up with reports regarding the new features of this mobile. As to mark the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, some are expecting it to be called “iPhone X”.

Well, iPhone 8 costing more than $1,000 should not be a big deal as iPhone 7 still costs more than $900 and also it is expected to house some interesting modifications. Reports state that company may be switching from LCD displays to OLED displays which will certainly cost Apple a bit more. Also, the new iPhone is expected to have more memory than iPhone 7.

Rumors also suggest that the display size will be around 5.8 inches, and the back of the phone will be made of glass and the sides will be of stainless steel.

But the report that has everyone on the edge of their seats is that the next gen iPhone may not be having any Home Button, and they are supposed to place it under the display providing users with a fully interactive touch display. This has come in correspondence with the rumors that there will be no physical buttons and even the volume and lock buttons will be touch sensitive metal portions. Apple has not yet announced anything about this device, so nothing yet is official. With Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 releasing this year, it would be interesting to see how the new iPhone will compete with Samsung’s best. And if Apple is able to turn these reports in reality, it would be a hard time for Samsung to compete for its market share.
