Justine Bieber who’s 24 years old proposed to 21 years old Hailey Baldwin on Saturday evening in the Bahamas during dinner at a local restaurant. Justin and Hailey have been almost inseparable since they began dating about a month ago. They’re no strangers to each other as they have dated before, and it appears they hooked up again just after Justin and Selena Gomez broke up. According to Billboard, they met in 2014 and soon began a unique friendship – which soon turned into something more romantic when she joined the Bieber family on a vacation in 2015.
Two eyewitnesses who have claimed to have actually witnessed the proposal told the media that everyone was told to put their phones down by their security personnel because something really special was about to happen. Then very romantically, Justin proposed to Hailey.
Hailey’s dad Stephen Baldwin congratulated his daughter and her new fiancé on Twitter, writing, “Sweet smile on my face! me&wife (Kennya) Always pray 4 Gods will !! He is moving in the hearts of JB&HB Let’s all pray for His will to be done Love you 2 so much !!! #Godstiming #bestisyettocome Congrats @JeremyBieber @pattiemallette #PraiseJesus.”
Justin’s dad, Jeremy, posted a photo of his JB Sunday with the caption, “@justinbieber proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”
Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, also seemed to confirm the happy news on Twitter, tweeting on Saturday … “Love Love Love Love Love Love Love.”
Well, everyone seems extremely happy about the big news and just waiting for the two of them to get married and live happily for the rest of their lives.
