Amid a shortage of masks during the current global outbreak of Coronavirus, various tech giants have announced that they would be helping by providing surgical masks to help combat their shortage.
On Saturday Tim Cook announced that Apple would donate Millions of surgical masks to healthcare professionals in U.S and Europe. Now Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have committed to providing masks to the professionals.
Zuckerberg announced that Facebook would be donating its emergency reserve of 720,000 masks which is leftover from California wildfires, as the health officials need it more than ever. Also, he assured that the company would be working to source millions more.
Among them was Elon Musk who also announced that Tesla and SpaceX would be working and dedicating their resources to manufacturing ventilators to hospitals and will provide with 250,000 masks.
