Apple releases its COVID-19 screening Website and App

With Microsoft and Google already providing with websites aimed at fighting COVID-19, Apple has also joined them and has launched a new app and website which will help by providing information regarding safe practices in COVID-19 pandemic.

The new App is made in collaboration with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and the White House, so you can fairly trust this screening tool.

This app focuses on providing details about the COVID-19 with comprehensive instruction on how to get tested and seek medical care.

The screening tool asks various questions from recent travel history to noticeable symptoms and then it suggests whether you should get tested or not.

Apple has signified that the app does not store user data and does not do any harm to someone’s privacy, the data is neither transmitted to Apple or any government organization.
