Google started Android O Developer Preview from 21 March 2017 and as we are nearing the launch of Android O officially, Google has released the final Developer Preview of Android O and is much stable than early previews.
In a blog post-Google said:
Developer Preview 4 is a release candidate build of Android O that you can use to complete your development and testing in time for the upcoming official release. It includes the final system behaviors, the latest bug fixes and optimizations, and the final APIs (API level 26) already available since Developer Preview 3.
Developer Preview is only available for certain devices such as Google Pixel and Nexus devices and you can download the images from here and you an manually update your devices.
Google also said that this provides an excellent opportunity for developers to test out their apps on next version of Android before users officially get the update.
The name of the next Android version is not officially announced, but there are many speculations ranging from Oreo to Octopus. We would soon get the opportunity to test out the features of Android O and will keep you updated with latest features of Android O.
