YouTube is making major changes to hide live subscriber counts

YouTube is making major changes to their platform. It is changing the way how the live subscriber count is shown to the people. The change is going to affect third-party sites that use YouTube’s API to show live subscriber counts.

If you are not a YouTube content creator, you probably won’t know about Social Blade, it is an analytics site that showcases live subscriber count and the growth and loss of channel. It has become an integral part of YouTube culture and with new changes in effect, this platform is nearing its end.

Social Blade has been used by almost all the top creators on YouTube and it is a way of showing why they still matter to the community. You might have seen all the PewDiePie vs T-Series subscriber cont battles, well you won’t be able to have any more of them as these platforms won’t be able to use Social Blade’s database anymore.
