Microsoft has always been trying to hide their new products and innovations, but not always the brand new technological concept remains a secret. According to the reports Microsoft has been working on a new mysterious Surface device for at least two years.
According to a Microsoft internal document obtained by The Verge, it’s also going to be a pocketable Surface device. It is also said to have a Dual Display. The device is named as “ANDROMEDA “. It may release in the year 2018. This device named Andromeda has appeared.
Microsoft has been experimenting with the stylus input for Andromeda so that the device can be folded into half just replicating a book with a pen that comes with the device. Microsoft may have taken advantage of the Intel’s split screen project. Intel has created a prototype of the dual display as well as the EPD (Electronic Paper Display).
According to the Microsoft detailed document received by The Verge. It is confirmed to be a pocketable surface device. Whereas Microsoft has declined to comment about the Andromeda to The Verge. The Andromeda is being developed with a wraparound display that bridges the gap of the hinge when it’s completely open.

The email says that the internally incubated device, code-named Andromeda, will create a “new and disruptive” device category and blur the lines between PC and mobile.
